Stairway Ridge Botany Walk
The Delaware Highlands Conservancy hosted a native plant walk in June with Senior Botanist and author Dr. Ann Rhoads, of the Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania. A group of about 50 people gathered at Stairway Ridge, the Conservancy's newest conservation easement property located in Westfall Township, Pike County, PA. Rhoads led participants through the property and along a stream classified as "Exceptional Value." The 708-acre parcel is currently managed by DCNR and is open to the public for hiking, fishing and hunting.
